Managing users in Gong is done in three stages:
1. Prepare Gong
We need to configure Gong for Team member provisioning. To do this, open your Company Settings and on the 'People' card select Team member provisioning
Once you've clicked through, under Provisioning Source, select 'Custom'.
Keep this window open as we'll be coming back to it in step 3.
2. Set up the integration in Accessium.
This is as straightforward as every other Accessium integration.
Open the "New Gong" page
Click the "Connect to Gong" button and log in to Gong with your Gong credentials.
Add any other employees who can approve Gong requests and click "Add App"
That's it, the integration between Gong and Accessium is complete. Now you need to configure Gong.
3. Configure Gong
The 'Gong-Side' configuration might seem confusing, but it is how the Gong platform is set up.
When you configure Accessium, we create a number of 'Groups'. These groups represent Combinations of Roles and Licenses that users could have in Gong, which are mapped to Assignments.
Navigate back to the Team member provisioning window we opened in step 1.
Under Assign Settings, click the '+ ADD ASSIGNMENT' button. You'll get to the Assignment page
Now we can configure the assignment. Accessium has created 8 'Groups'. Each group has a Role (R) and License (L). You'll create 8 assignments, one for each group, with the relevant settings. e.g. R: Business Admin, L: Forecast has the Business Admin role and Forecast License. As you can't assign the Forecast license without a Gong license you'll need to add that as well. You can name your assignment whatever you like, but as we're using one group per assignment we recommend the group name.
Once you've set up all 8
